Description
One pair of large or small silicone electrodes for hands, feet, and special curved areas. These iontophoresis electrodes come in thin sponge pockets.
Thin silicone electrodes with thin sponge pockets = Extremely flexible! You can even cut them into size with simple household scissors!
Normally used for hands and feet, these electrodes are also very good for curved body parts, for example the back etc.
Alternatives for hand or foot treatment would be large metal electrodes (keyword: durability).
Tip: these electrodes are especially suitable when taking your iontophoresis device on travel. They are lightweight, flat, and can be used on a non-conductive, waterproof surface for a treatment without large treatment tubs. A larger towel can be used to increase the treatment area. The current is conducted through the water into the skin.
Dimensions of the large electrodes: 19 x 13 x 0.7 cm, small electrodes: 6 x 10 x 0.7 cm.
Electrode connection: These electrodes have a socket of 2mm and require a special pair of cables when connected to an iontophoresis device with a socket of 4 mm. Most iontophoresis devices have 4mm lab plugs, e.g. Idromed and Hidrex devices.
Why do you need special 2 mm cables? These cables are thinner and lighter and therefore much more flexible. When treating complicated, rounded body parts, the normal electrode cables would be inconvenient due to their thickness. Manufactorer AAM.
