Description
Underarm set for Idromed Dermadry, AMM, Easion and Hidrex
This set consists of a pair of electrodes (metal/silicone electrodes in sponge pockets) and a pair of sponges for the iontophoresis treatment of the underarms.
Description of the metal electrodes:
Thick sponge pockets provide comfort even when treating the armpits.
The metal electrodes are prevented from slipping out of the pockets by their natural tilt inside the sponge material.
The small (metal) electrodes conduct the current directly into the sponge pockets. They are kept perfectly in place inside the sponge pads. The combination of electrodes and sponge pockets fits comfortably beneath the armpits and is kept securely and accurately in place without exerting any pressure.
The sponge pads are boil-proof and washable by machine. They withstand boiling water.
Perfect hygiene / disinfection and long-lasting enjoyment. Easy to clean due to the metal material.
Corrosion-resistant – time-proven - extremely durable.
Warranty: 10 years for material metal
Description of the silicone electrodes:
These silicone electrodes are sewing into a thick sponge material to prevent slipping. Thus, your skin remains safe from being burned by a direct contact between the skin and the conductive silicone material.
Sometimes it is difficult to check if the electrodes are adjusted perfectly beneath the armpits.
The following applies to the armpit treatment: when your arms hang loosely by your sides, the skin under the armpits is relatively „flat“. Therefore, an extremely stable and durable material such as metal – in combination with thick sponge pockets – is perfectly sufficient for the armpit area. The armpit treatment does not require flexible electrode materials.
On their own, silicone electrodes are quite easy to bend, but the thick sponge pads decrease their flexibility.
Should you require extremely flexible electrodes, we recommend the thin silicone electrodes in thin sponge pads.
Iontophoresis for the armpits: these sensitive areas can be treated gently, yet efficiently, with a pulsed current. Read more under the topic: Why we always recommend a pulsed current device!
Small tip: The sponge material should be soaked in water for 5 minutes before use, to make sure that the material is thoroughly and evenly soaked. Gently squeeze the excess water out to prevent dripping. Ready to go!
