An accidental selection of an unsuitable iontophoresis current is not possible with this device, since it does not offer a switch between direct current and pulsed current. This can be a big advantage, since the wrong current selection might lead to confusion and an unpleasant sensation during the treatment - especially for children, who are very sensitive to electric currents!

The Dermadry iontophoresis device is set to a fix pulse width of 90%.

This is exactly the setting we would recommend for the treatment of the feet. For the hands and more the underarms, a pulse width of 90% might seem a bit harsh - but compared to a direct current, this is definitely the right approach!

The Dermadry device is kept simple. One button is designated for selecting the treatment area, two buttons for the current strength (up and down), and one for the therapy start.

Each button has only one function, which improves the usability greatly!

A  little "disadvantage" of this iontophoresis device is its automatic polarity change, which cannot be switched off. Depending on the program, the polarity changes every five or two and a half minutes. Some users consider the sensation whilst polarity changes (down, switching and up of the current to the old settings) as unpleasant.

Another important detail to keep in mind is the lack of memory function. Thus, all the settings have to be adjusted anew before each treatment. It has to be said that very few devices on the market have a memory function that saves your last settings.
