Belly and back - Iontophoreis
1) Soak the applicator with water. The wetter the sponges, the more effective the therapy.
2) Connect the applicator to the iontophoresis device.
3) Place the applicator on your body. The blue sponge must be touching bare skin. The black silicone electrode must not touch the body!
4) Turn on the device and select a low current value. This should not exceed 6 mA. The current flow should feel comfortable. If you feel pain, the current is set too high.
5) Never touch the black silicone electrode during therapy – risk of burns!
6) Once the therapy is complete, turn off the device. Wash the applicator carefully and let it air dry.
HOW DO I APPLY THE APPLICATOR?
There are two methods for treating the upper body.
Method 1:
Place one half of the applicator on the front and the other on the back of your torso. Secure it with the Velcro fasteners.
Method 2:
1) Cut the Velcro fasteners from one half of the applicator and connect them to the Velcro fasteners on the other applicator.
2) Attach one half of the applicator to your torso.
3) Complete the circuit by treating one hand at a time.
Additional tip: To ensure the applicator fully covers the skin, wear a pure cotton shirt over the applicator during therapy.
Connectors don't fit
Normally, within a device series - one manufactorer - everything should fit.
Sometimes you involuntarily end up with a connector that doesn't fit. What to do?
Caution: If the connectors don't fit, it's an accessory that was simply purchased on suspicion and is therefore usually not approved for your iontophoresis device or is simply incompatible.
There are many adapters available in electronics stores. Please note that the manufacturers do not want this, and the warranty only applies to original parts and accessories.
