Device selection

Iontophoresis device - let us help you choose & decide!

Do you need an iontophoresis device?

The most pressing question will inevitably be: which iontophoresis device should I use?

Our selection guide will lead you through your decision-making process.

It will help you understand the differences between the devices. For instance, a device that is suitable for the armpits may have different properties from a device that is used for the treatment of hands and feet.

Other differences include the current type and various other criteria. All four selection guides on one page

Let's see which device our selection guide recommends for you!

This page explains the criteria that influence the result of our recommendation.

A more detailed page listing further details that are necessary for the selection and purchase of a device can be found under Selecting Iontophoresis Devices.

Testing our iontophoresis devices / sorting different features / properties of the devices

How does the selection guide work in detail? Let us explain the criteria.

First, we separate the three types of treatment areas:

  • hands and feet (insensitive)
  • more sensitive body parts (every other treatment area, such as face, armpits, etc.)
  • and a combination of both types

This is the first and most important step to finding out which device will be the perfect choice.

If you wish to treat hands or feet and more sensitive body parts with an iontophoresis device, our selection guide immediately excludes all devices that offer only direct current.

If you insist on a direct current device, you can enforce the selection by clicking on the direct current option.

The different criteria regarding the current types are

  • Pulsed current (recommended)
  • Direct current
  • Both
  • I don't know

Unless you explicitly choose the direct current, you are left with devices that offer both pulsed and direct current, variable pulsed current, and automatic pulsed current.

The next selection criterion is based on the operation of the device itself, which can be very simple or more complex/technical.

Lastly, the selection is completed and our guide will suggest your most suitable device.

Note: If you only wish to treat sensitive areas (without hands and feet), the choice will fall on the most affordable device with a pulsed and a direct current. During the treatment, you should only select the direct current.

In this case, the low price is an advantage.
